Here is an exciting opportunity to join a growing leader in Midstream Infrastructure services & Environmental Solutions in our Metals Facility in Red Deer as a Scaler.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Customer Service
- Scale in and out customers
- Payout scrap tickets
- Multitasking
- Ensure all SECURE safety policies and procedures are followed
- Be cognizant of and adhere to any site-specific safety requirements
- Partake in all safety-related meetings including daily tailgates, last-minute risk assessment, etc.
- Sweeping
- Monitoring
- Sampling
- Spotting for trucks
- Must be familiar with operating and servicing small equipment such as forklifts, skid steer, cut-off saws, stationary baler
- Responsible for sorting non-ferrous material, cutting material to size and packaging
- Must understand all power and small tools
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
- Clean, lubricate and fuel all equipment and general site housekeeping
- Notify supervisor and or repair shop of any required work to be done
- Other related duties as required

**Qualifications**
- Computer knowledge
- Bonded
- Customer service experience
- General laboring and or farm experience is an asset but not required
- Experience working in on demolitions preferred
- Oil and gas industry experience would be an asset
- Basic comprehension and ability to follow SECURE’s Workplace Health and Safety requirements relevant to the assigned work site, including but not limited to SECURE’s safety and hazard assessment process”
- Ability to complete safety documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, shoveling, moving containers and other heavy materials
- Strong work ethic and willingness to persevere through difficult weather conditions, challenging work site environments, and long demanding work days
- Willingness to work away from home if necessary, moving from project to project as required
- Ability to manage weather and/or seasonal interruptions in work schedule
- Certification in WHIMS, H2S, CSTS, First Aid would be considered an asset
- Fit-for-Work each day
