**Job Description**:
**Job Purpose**:
The Assistant Manager, Experience is responsible for maintaining high quality customer service and providing outstanding customer experiences in the store. They will work closely to support the Store Manager in all store performance areas including Store Financial Performance, People Management & Engagement, Customer Experience and Operational Excellence. They will ensure that the **Yorkdale** **location achieves its financial targets, while creating an outstanding experience that allows customers to continuously conquer the outdoors. Finally, they will lead and mentor their teammates to ensure they maintain Canada Goose’s expectations of quality and authenticity and excel in all areas.

**What you will do in this role**:
**Store Financial Performance**:

- Achieve or exceed sales targets including both the top and bottom line results

**Customer Experience**:

- Drive our Net Promoter Score (NPS) and other selling and service metrics such as conversion, average dollar per transaction, average unit retail etc.
- Analyze and drive customer relationship management measured by capture rate and repeat purchase
- Drive respective location’s Units per Transaction (UPT) by actively introducing new, underperforming, and strategic categories
- Resolve common customer issues by investigating opportunities, developing solutions, preparing reports, and coaching staff on managing similar challenges in the future
- Proactively elevate and enhance customer experience through in store events, personal appointments and introduction of our emerging categories
- Drive the store’s customer relationship management process through clienteling and after-sale customer engagement

**People Management & Engagement**:

- Train teammates in product knowledge, brand history and effective storytelling
- Motivate and inspire teammates to create brand loyalty and inspire a positive store environment
- Coach and mentor teammates to improve performance and develop future leaders while identifying external talent for Canada Goose’s retail business
- Ensure an outstanding employee experience and drive employee engagement

**Operational Excellence**:

- Perform payroll and scheduling to maximize productivity and enhance customer experience measured by Sales per hour (SPH)
- Perform store opening and closing procedures in alignment with company standards

**What we are looking for from you**:

- 3-5 years of retail management experience, bonus points for previous experience working with luxury brands in high volume traffic locations
- Experience with customer relationship management tools
- Payroll and expense management experience
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of retail math/metrics
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to drive performance and sales
- Flexible and able to work standard retail hours including peak season, weekends, evenings and holidays
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
