**Opportunity**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate, compile and review Environmental Assessment (EA) documents.
- Lead teams in their respective areas of expertise (aquatics, terrestrial, socio economic, etc.) to complete the necessary field assessments, studies and reporting for incorporation into the technical documentation required throughout the provincial and federal EA processes.Assistance in coordinating and tracking Indigenous, public, and other stakeholder consultationsassociated with EAs.
- Gather and analyze project and environmental data and information on the environmental effects of proposed development projects.
- Identify environmental effects, assess the adversity of environmental effects, propose mitigation measures, and evaluate the significance of residual environmental effects.
- Project management tasks including preparation of technical cost proposals and reports, planning and managing field teams/studies/programs, data validation and QA/QC, and cost tracking.
- Work with other team members in areas such as surveying, terrestrial and aquatics crews/technicians, administrative, and safety.
- Liaise and consult with governing bodies and other stakeholders to ensure consideration of all concerns throughout the project regulatory permitting process.
- Conduct field work, when necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Science Degree in Environment, Ecology, Biology, Natural Resources, or related field of study.
- 5+ years professional experience in increasingly senior roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal and provincial environmental legislation.
- Senior level management of the Environmental Assessment (federal and provincial) processes for projects, from registration to full Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
- Project management skills.
- Willingness to travel.
- Excellent writing and communication skills (English).
