Toronto, Canada Centreville Amusement Park Full time

**Summary**:
This outdoors position requires you to maintain all park grounds, washrooms, and receptacles in the amusement park. This position requires you to take initiative and to pay attention to details. We employ many students looking for summer work, making for a great experience and the opportunity to meet new friends. We provide a flexible work schedule for all employees. We host staff events throughout the season such as BBQs and an end of season Semi Formal as well as offering job incentives such as giveaways and awards.

**Job Duties**:

- Cleans and stocks public washrooms;
- Washes fixtures and accessories such as sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, garbage cans, etc.
- Unclogs sinks and toilets with appropriate products and plungers.
- Restocks hand soap, hand towels, sanitizer stations, toilet paper, etc.
- As required; cleans, washes and wipes partitions in bathroom and shower stalls.
- Washes walls and doors.
- May move heavy equipment and supplies
- Collects and removes garbage and recycled materials.
- Deals with garbage spills throughout the amusement park
- Empties, washes and disinfects garbage cans.
- Collects recyclable paper and glass. Carries and places garbage at designated pick up points
- Washes or cleans furnishings and fixtures such as interior and exterior window panes, partitions, window sills and swinging shutters, blinds, extinguishers, etc.
- Picks up debris, sweeps, rakes, shovels walkways and traffic areas as needed
- Cleans and washes rooms that have been damaged.
- Cleans areas affected by water damage. Performs heavy cleaning such as spring-cleaning and maintenance duties as required.
- Inspects buildings daily. Reports unusual activity, damage, defects and special cleaning requirements to supervisor.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to work outside and under adverse conditions
- Excellent communication skills
- Enjoys working outdoors
- Able to cope with the physical demands of the job
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to work for long hours and in all kinds of weather conditions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
