Envirogreen Technologies Ltd. (ETL) is an established waste management company, leading the way in the treatment of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. Our permitted hazardous waste treatment facility located outside of Princeton, BC, utilizes thermal desorption technology to treat a wide range of industrial waste and contaminated soil.

The Opportunity
ETL is looking for a motivated Systems Operator Level 1 with proven experience to join our team.

The Systems Operator works under the direction of the Designated Supervisors and works with other employees within the company to ensure safe work practices and policies, compliances and regulations are adhered.

Main responsibilities: competently operate several fixed facility systems including our soil remediation plant, wastewater treatment plant, potable water system and site water supply system.

The Systems Operator Level 1 will work closely with facility staff to create a positive and safe working environment, be a resource to management and facility staff for health and safety information and promote health and safety programs in the workplace.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Education: High School or equivalent.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
- Licence: Valid Class 5 and access to reliable transportation.
- Language: English.
- Experience using MS Office programs

Core Job Duties
- Competently operate fixed facility systems.
- Report all system deficiencies to supervisor or maintenance lead.
- Perform system pre-use inspections.
- Complete daily safety paperwork.
- Maintain production logs with accuracy.
- Daily reporting of production/processing.
- Maintenance, inspection, and tagging of tools and equipment.
- Responsible for proper inventory of materials and supplies related to system.
- Participate in required training programs.
- Other duties as requested by supervisor or manager.

**Salary**: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
