Construction Supplier is seeking a **WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE** to fill a permanent opening in our Coquitlam warehouse.

We are a leading wholesale distributor of mechanical insulation products. We have 13 branches across Canada and our Western branches have been servicing BC and Alberta for more than 50 years. We are a stable and progressive company with a longstanding reputation for quality products and superior customer service. Wage is $21.00 and up depending on the applicant’s qualifications and previous experience.

Work hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)

Warehouse Associates are the first person that our customers speak to when they come into our warehouse. A pleasant disposition and the ability to interact with customers and coworkers is important for this position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Unload trailers
- Put away stock
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Fill customer’s orders
- Prepare orders for in town and out of town shipments
- General warehouse duties with a focus on safety and adherence to our ISO 9000 standards

**Qualifications**:

- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Punctual
- A positive attitude
- Able to work individually and as part of a team
- Good listening and communication skills
- Able to lift 50 - 100 Lbs.
- Ability to cope in a fast paced environment
- Good math and organizational skills
- Experience in a warehouse environment is an asset.
