**Selkirk GM** is looking to add an Automotive Parts Advisor to our dynamic team. Our locally owned and operated family dealership prides itself on exceptional customer service and is located just 20 minutes north of the perimeter.
Reporting to the Parts Manager, as the Parts Advisor you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to all customers (internal and retail) in support of their automotive parts needs. You will support the Parts Department in tracking, monitoring and stocking parts inventory.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Track incoming and outgoing parts for the dealership, including looking up and charging out parts.
- Order parts for customers, both internal (body shop & service) and retail.
- Remain in constant contact with all internal departments regarding the receipt of special order parts
- Collect parts order payments and ensure the appropriate paperwork is completed in order for accurate account payment and invoicing.
- Additional duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
- Experience in an automotive parts role is preferred.
- Experience with ordering, tracking and stocking is preferred.
- Forward-facing customer service experience.
- Experience working with inventory management systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact and provide effective service to all customers, both internal and retail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
