**Financial Cost Analyst**

We are looking for a Financial Cost Analyst (Maternity leave replacement) to join our team to assist with: supporting purchase order preparation, analysis of spending, and coordination of invoice review and coding. This role reports to the Controller of CNEA and involves working closely with the CNEA Finance Team.

**Location**: Mississauga

**Your role within the team**:

- Support Purchase Order (PO) preparation for Suppliers.
- Prepare cost support for PO.
- Review & Analyse purchase order spending as required.
- Prepare and update PO drawdown workbooks as needed.
- Reconcile Supplier invoices with Oracle Accounting ERP system as needed.
- Review and code Supplier Invoices for Accounts Payables processing and payment.
- Support Supplier invoice processing and payments with centralized Accounts Payable processing centre.
- Review & verify Supplier Invoices (e.g., comparing invoice charges to purchase orders, confirming support for items billed, confirming billing consistent with cost policy, etc.)
- Ensure timely coding and Finance review of Supplier Invoices.
- Support and co-ordinate regular follow ups with Suppliers relating to supplier statements and delayed billings.
- Contribute to improvements and efficiencies in the K&E invoicing processes.
- Maintain operational integrity by keeping financial information confidential.
- Develop, support, and manage value added relationships with relevant parties (Clients, Vendors, Partners, Auditors).
- Assist & participate in various audits (internal audit, external audit, tax audits).
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc reports and analysis as required.
- Support the Finance Team as required.

- Bachelor’s degree, Accounting/Finance preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in accounting / finance preferably in a project environment.
- Advanced skills using complete Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams etc.)
- Prior Oracle, or major ERP systems experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills.

- Familiarity with sales taxes an advantage.
