Key Responsibilities:

- Perform prep work on furniture, including cleaning, sanding (both solid wood and veneer), disassembly, and assembly.
- Pay close attention to the unique characteristics of veneer and solid wood when sanding to avoid damage or altering original designs.
- Assist with weekly deliveries, loading/unloading, and setting up furniture in clients’ homes or offices (deliveries are on Thursdays).
- Work carefully and respectfully in our workshop.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Communicate professionally with team members and clients, ensuring that all furniture is handled with care and precision.
- Follow instructions closely to achieve the highest quality finishes for each piece.

What We’re Looking For:

- Physical strength and stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy furniture on a regular basis.
- Woodworking skills: Experience with sanding and working with solid wood and veneer is a major asset. Attention to grain direction, detail shaping, and careful handling is critical.
- High character and trustworthiness: You’ll be working daily on our property, so integrity and respect are non-negotiable.

Work Schedule:

- Workshop days: Monday to Wednesday, Friday at 1600 Conlin Road East, Oshawa
- Delivery day: Thursday (route and client locations vary)

How to Apply:
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
