**Machine Operator/General Labourer**

**The Opportunity**:
Tiltco Architectural is currently seeking a Skilled Machine Operator with exceptional attention to detail. The specific machine that needs an operator is an Elumatec Double head Mitre saw

**JOB INFORMATION**
- Full-time, 40 Hours per week
- M-F, 6am-3pm
- $19-23 an hour depending on experience

**RESPONSIBILITES/SKILLS**
- Safe & Efficient Operation of Elumatec double miter saw
- Reading and interpreting cut optimization documents from fabrication software
- Clearly writing & labeling sizes and tag numbers on aluminum profiles
- Cutting & drilling Aluminum frames to precision sizes.
- Fabricating and assembly of tilt & turn windows, swing doors, lift slide patio doors & curtain wall systems.
- Reading & Interpreting fabrication manuals and shop drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
- Use of pneumatic tools, power tools, drills, chop saws, caulking guns, hand tools and machinery.
- Material planning.
- Quality inspection of product during manufacturing process.
- Assisting in Loading and unloading trucks with window/door materials (this may require heavy lifting over 50 pounds).

**REQUIRMENTS**
- High School Diploma
- Understanding, knowledge & experience in the manufacturing process
- Proficient with computers & MS Office
- Hand and power tools. Hands-on & mechanically inclined
- Able to lift more the 50lbs
- Communication, problem solving, interpersonal, mathematical, and analytical skills
- Commitment to safety rules, efficient work ethic, organization & attention to detail
- Willing to do manual work to assist with the overall manufacturing process
- Reliable vehicle transportation
- Previous experience in Extrusion company or window and door is not required but considered an asset (preferred)
- Knowledge of CNC speeds, feeds & tooling (preferred)

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing: 1 year (required)
- CNC: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
