**YOUR ROLE WILL INVOLVE**:
**Facilitate Activities**
- Design and facilitate group exercise classes in person or virtual using ZOOM.
- Plan and implement social and recreation programs in person or virtual.
- Promoting our services and programs via different modes of communication.
- Responsible for the implementation and facilitation of special events, workshops, and excursions under the direction of the Supervisor.

**Administrative Tasks**
- Completes the registration process for new clients.
- Maintains client files through CIMS and hardcopies. Completes bulk entries of clients’ attendance in programs.
- Monitor instructors’ attendance.
- Assists with the set up and monitoring of the implementation of service provision, including preparing the physical space for classes. Physical labour required for set up duties.
- Troubleshooting and providing IT support to virtual HLC participants.
- Sits on internal and/or external committees as assigned. Performs other duties as required.

**Customer Service**
- Responding to phone calls and inquiries about services and programs.
- Complete check-in calls with clients and provide them resources.
- Monitors the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of clients as well as their progress.

**Requirements for the position include**:

- Post-secondary education preferably in Gerontology, Recreation or Kinesiology, Fitness or Exercise certificate is an asset.
- You **MUST** have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle. You will be reimbursed for travel when you use your own vehicle for work purposes.
- Experience working with group exercise classes is an asset.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with older adults and/or people with disabilities is required.
- Good knowledge of community resources and experience in community development is an asset
- Self-motivated, creative, and energetic; able to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills and flexible.
- Strong critical thinking skills, able to make decisions independently while working alone
- Knowledge of the CIMS system is an asset.
- Standard First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Screening Police check

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
