Formwork Carpenter

We are currently seeking Apprentice Carpenters, Journeyman Carpenters and Non-Ticketed Formwork Carpenters to join our team in Halifax, NS.

Duties / Responsibilities:

- Erect / install and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites
- Build footings, walls, column forms, slab forms, and stair forms
- Use and operate required hand and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Prepare forms based on sketches and verbal instructions
- Review and follow safety policies and procedures
- Work at heights and in all weather conditions
- Perform physically demanding labour in a fast paced environment
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Education: Completion of high school or equivalent

Location: Various job site locations in the Halifax area

Schedule: Hours vary; 35 - 50 hours per week
