**Job Description**:
Position Overview:
The Plant HR Administrator will support the Human Resources Business Partner in overseeing the day-to-day HR, Payroll, and benefits administration activities at the plant. As well, this position will assist with administrative requirements to support the plant. This position will report to the Plant Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

- May develop and propose improvement to policies, programs, and procedures to improve the effectiveness of human resources and safety.
- Assist in administering the benefit program for employees in the plant.
- Responsible for claims management including WSIB, Short Term Disability for hourly employees.
- Carries out administrative work related to human resource functions and maintain related records.
- Assist with recruiting and on-boarding or hourly employees.
- Oversee timekeeping and payroll administration to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with social events.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support
- Assist the Plant HSE Department with administrative duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- The ability to organize the workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities in an environment of rapid change.
- Use of Microsoft Office products at an advanced level.
- Minimum of 5 years in a role within a manufacturing environment.
- Sound knowledge of employment, industrial labor relations, and occupational safety legislation.
- Bilingual.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Integrity and strong attention to detail are crucial.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
