Unskilled Labourer

Teranorth Construction & Engineering Limited is looking for motivated labourers to join our blasting crew.

Note: this position is applicable for the OE793 union and the included benefits (health, dental, retirement, etc). The rate of pay reflects the union rate once the employee becomes a union member.

We are looking for hard working individuals that:

- Are committed to safety as their number 1 priority
- Have at least 1 year experience in the construction field
- Are able to use tools and equipment needed to perform specific tasks
- Have great communication skills and demonstrate great teamwork
- Are able to work independently
- Are physically able to perform rigorous work tasks
- Have a reliable way to get to and from the work site
- Are punctual and committed to hard work

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Assist equipment operators, labourers and other individuals that are present on the worksite
- Prepare construction site, making sure that proper housekeeping is being completed
- Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools
- Load and unload various materials
- Follow the Teranorth Health and Safety Policy Manual as well as the Acts and Regulations set out by the MOL and other governing body
- Follow instructions set out by the site Supervisor

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4-8 months

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.09 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

- construction: 1 year (preferred)
