**Job Description**:
Analysts focused on the detection and understanding of Group Health & Dental claims fraud risk. This role is accountable for the assessment and management of the tools and technology employed by the Fraud Management team and their analytical effectiveness; the assessment of need for supplementary counter-fraud solutions and strategies and any corresponding development, and; the provision of analytical products to support risk assessment and fraud investigations. The Manager, Intelligence Operations provides oversight and strategic leadership to open-source intelligence-gathering and contributes to the overall execution of the Fraud Management program.

**What you will do**
- In collaboration with the Director of Fraud Management, deliver on the strategic objectives of the Fraud Management program.
- Oversee a team of Analysts responsible for providing intelligence, analytical and data products in support of risk detection, investigations, and risk assessments.
- Be responsible for the enterprise solution used by the Fraud Management team for the analytical detection of risk; conduct ongoing analysis of the effectiveness of the analytics underpinning the solution and recommend enhancements to ensure continued mitigation of risk.
- Identify, develop, and implement data and intelligence tactics and strategies to address newly emerging risks in the changing fraud landscape.
- Be responsible for training plans, development, mentoring/coaching of staff; hiring and performance management processes.
- Foster a continuous improvement mindset within the team and identifies opportunities
- Develops strong relationships with key partners and works closely with the Investigations team as a key stakeholder to the analytical output of the Intelligence Operations team.
- Stay current on emerging industry, fraud, risk, and technology trends.

**What you will bring**
- Post-secondary degree in data or intelligence studies, or a related field of study
- 7-10 yrs working with data and analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity
- Understanding of data extraction and manipulation processes
- Experience working with data and analytics, with a proven ability to draw insights
- Experience working with predictive analytics and modelling
- Demonstrated experience implementing solutions in data analysis
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects
- Adaptability and agility; ability to champion change.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel - Pivot Tables, functions, etc.; Word; PowerPoint; Access)
- Superior written and verbal communication
- Highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- An understanding of Health and Dental insurance/data is an asset
- Experience in Fraud/Risk Management is an asset
- Understanding of the intelligence cycle and analysis is an asset
- Experience working in an operational criminal or security intelligence environment is an asset
