Tigercat is seeking a detail-oriented individual with a passion for precision and a keen eye for quality. As an Electrical Wire Harness Assembler, you will be responsible for building electrical wire harnesses, which are bundles of wires, cables, and connectors that are used to transmit electrical signals and power to various components in our heavy equipment machines.

Afternoon Shift - 4x10 hour shifts (Monday to Thursday) $3/hour shift premium applies

Our team of Wire Harness Assemblers play an important role in the manufacturing of a wide range of electrical and electronic equipment and must possess a combination of technical knowledge and manual skills to be successful in their work.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working from schematics and blueprints to ensure that each wire is properly placed and secured in the harness.
- Use of electrical and mechanical equipment and tools
- Checking for quality crimping of terminals
- Checking for quality mating of terminals with connectors
- Complete repairs, and / or replace damaged parts when required
- In addition to building wire harnesses, an assembler may also be responsible for testing and troubleshooting the electrical systems with the use of diagnostic equipment

**Skills & Experience**:

- Previous experience with electronic or wiring assembly
- Must have knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, including basic electrical principles and the properties of different types of wire and cable
- High level of manual dexterity, hand / eye coordination and attention to detail, as this role will be working with small wires and components that must be carefully routed and connected
- Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
- Knowledge of tools, blueprints, and drawings
- Positive attitude through effective and friendly communication
- Punctual and reliable attendance
