Island Timber Mart is currently seeking a **Seasonal Cashier** to join our team. **You **will work out of our Island location at 2407 V Line Richards Landing.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Greet all customers in a warm and welcoming, professional manner
- Process payments and refunds, issue receipts accurately
- Ensure all orders are processed accurately
- Answer phones and direct phone calls to appropriate department / team members
- Assist with putting stock away
- Assist with other duties as required or assigned by management

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent customer service skills
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Cash experience in hardware or building material retail setting is an asset, however not mandatory
- Willingness to take initiative in getting tasks completed
- Friendly, courteous and helpful
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Proficient with computers; including MS Office
