Bouncer/doorman/woman

We are looking for well experienced and dedicated **Bouncers**/**Bar Security Guards** to join our exciting, hard-working, and growing team

**Must have** a Valid Ontario Security Guard License and a Smart Serve certificate.
**Must have 2 years of bar/club security experience.**

**Basic Requirements**:

- **First Aid/CPR Level C**:

- **Clean Appearance**:

- **Excellent verbal/written communication skills**:

- **Applicants must be able to work all shifts (Nights, Weekends & Rotating Schedules)**

Job Duties:

- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
- Patrolling and monitoring designated areas
- Interacting with the public with a customer service approach to security
- Enforcing the Trespass to Property Act.
- Keep an eye out for patrons who may have had too much to drink and offer assistance.
- Keep an eye on the floor and anticipate the needs of guests and fellow team members
- Conduct bag checks as required
- Effectively communicate with the team and offer support to staff as their needs may require
- Looking out for instances such as threatening, fraudulent, and rude behaviours by the customers
- Escalating to and assisting law enforcement as required
- Completing incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:

- Valid Ontario Security License
- Work with minimum supervision and respond quickly
- Communicate effectively and calmly in a variety of situations
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Security experience working in the hospitality industry (Bar or nightclub experience required)
- **Valid First Aid and CPR certification**:

- **Valid Smart Serve Certificate.**:

- Able to work on the weekends (Friday and Saturday) and holidays, including late nights

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.55-$25.46 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
