Betz Pools, is looking for a Store Retail Associate to join their team There is 1 part-time position available immediately. The Store Retail Associates are required to communicate effectively with customers in order to complete the requirements desired, ensuring work is completed in a timely and professional manner and the needs of the customer are met. The Store Retail Associate is required to ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers who enter the store.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers.
- Answer phone inquiries.
- Discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase
- Test drop-in water samples and print off a water diagnosis
- Suggest appropriate chemicals relating to the water diagnosis
- Advise customers on use and care of merchandise, and provide advice concerning specialized products or services
- Use bar code scanning equipment to record incoming stock, verify pricing and maintain computerized stock inventory.
- Finalize debit/credit/cash transactions
- Bag, box or parcel purchases for customers or for shipment or delivery to customers
- Carry customers' purchases to parking lot when needed
- Unpack products received by store
- Build promotional items in the storefront area (barbecues, display cases, advertisements, and pool toys).
- Obtain articles for customers from shelf
- Direct customers to location of products required
- Stock shelves and display areas and keep stock clean and in order.
- Locate inventory in the back warehouse for restocking.
- Communicate with warehouse staff on location of products.
- May sweep aisles, dust display racks and perform other general cleaning duties
- May operate cash register and computer for electronic commerce transactions

**Requirements**:

**Compensation**
- $14/hour - part-time employees
- 1% commission of individual storefront sales (including commission on BBQ's and Sauna's)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: $14.60-$15.50 per hour

Day range:

- Every Weekend
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Shift:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Stouffville, ON L4A 2T1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
