The Ministry of Transportation, Marine Operations Branch, Ferry services provides safe, reliable and efficient marine transportation services and are currently seeking motivated individuals to lead and manage the efficient operations of the Wolfe Island ferries.
As the Ferry Supervisor, you will provide leadership, direction, planning, and operational services to the Marine Services organization on a day-to-day basis.

Deliver on Business Goals and Priorities
Your leadership will be crucial in guiding the team towards the achievement of their business goals. It will be your responsibility to inspire and motivate your team to deliver their best performance and align the teams daily actions with the strategic vision of the ministry. You will contribute to the achievement of team goals by:

- Planning, managing, coordinating and directing the safe and efficient operation of ferries transporting vehicles and passengers in a public facing 24-hour a day, seven days a week scheduled service operation.
- Representing the ministry to the public, municipal elected officials and staff, Transport Canada and other regulatory agencies, police, fire and ambulance services.
- Developing operational work plans and managing annual project plans with budgetary control, resource management and effective stakeholder relations to ensure programs/services/operations are effectively delivered.
- Resolving complex operational, emergency and administrative problems referred by Ferry Captains and act as relief on the vessel when required.
