**Description**:
This position is a part of the Association of the Academic Staff of the University of Alberta (AASUA).

This is a part-time position with a term length of 8 months with a possibility of renewal. Salary will be commensurate with experience in accordance with the Academic Teaching Staff (ATS) agreement.

**Location** - This role is in-person at Augustana Camrose.

**Working for the Faculty of Augustana**

Augustana enrolls over 1000 undergraduate students in baccalaureate degree programs on a residential campus in the city of Camrose, 90 kilometers southeast of Edmonton. The Campus is located on Treaty Six territory which provided a traveling route and home to the Cree, Blackfoot, and Metis, as it did for the Nakoda, Tsuu T'ina and Chipewyan, and other Indigenous peoples. Their spiritual and practical relationships to the land create a rich heritage and ongoing model for our learning and our life as a community. The Faculty is committed to building on its reputation for academic rigour, high-quality teaching in the tradition of the liberal arts and sciences, and extensive opportunities for students in the areas of community service-learning, undergraduate research and place-based learning. Augustana offers a distinctive undergraduate experience characterized by an alternative academic calendar (“3-11”) and a common project-based core. **Position**
- Studio Voice instruction
- Repertoire classes

Currently, the position includes 9 hours per week of instruction (0.4 FTE).

**Duties**
- Weekly vocal instruction
- Weekly repertoire classes

**Qualifications**
- Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance
- Evidence of professional performance experience.
- Evidence of successful teaching experience.
- University-level teaching experience preferred.
