We’re looking for a
**Project Manager** to
**lead the cross-functional briefs and project **requests for our Marketing team at Article. Reporting to our Senior Manager, Marketing Operations, this role will have you at the center of all the ongoing projects across our marketing department and give you exposure to each department.

You will collaborate closely with Brand Creative and Marketing Leadership to prioritize work, assign the necessary resources, and use our project management software tools to track and report progress — all to help our teams create impactful creative content for our customers. This could range from photo and video content.

We need someone who likes to keep things on track and push things along, but can also foresee upcoming risks to a project and plan accordingly. You can adapt quickly, solve problems on the fly, bring multiple people from different departments together, and still deliver on time. You will have some familiarity with the Waterfall methodology.

**Project Managers come in a lot of varieties, and we want to be clear what we’re looking for**:
**This is NOT a role for a Tech Project Manager, Supply Chain Project Manager, Construction Project Manager, or Project Manager from another non-creative/marketing discipline.**

**We WANT someone from the marketing world. **Preferably, you have worked in an agency setting and have interacted with multiple marketing and creative departments. Things move fast at Article and the team acts like an internal agency to all of the functions in marketing.

The Marketing Production Group is a 10-person team, that is essentially the Air Traffic Control for marketing at Article. They make sure all of the moving parts are doing what they need to do when they need to do it. A mix of PM’s and content department heads (i.e. photo, video, studio).

**What You'll Do**:

- Owning project ideation, management, execution, and close-out
- Owning business case development and ROI analysis
- Performing risk and change management across a variety of projects as required
- Mapping current systems and processes to identify optimization opportunities
- Engaging and working with relevant stakeholders and business unit owners
- Creating and improving processes in support of achieving operational excellence
- Supporting and prioritizing work for our Creative team to help create impactful creative content for our customers

**Who You Are**:

- 3+ years in project management roles, or equivalent experience and a proven track record in project management, change management, and process optimization
- Experience working in a project-driven environment
- Experience in transitioning a completed project to a sustaining team
- Demonstrated ability to think critically, challenge assumptions, and deep dive
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders in the organization

**Nice to Have**:

- PMP certification is an asset

**The following is needed to qualify for employment**:

- Legally able to work in Canada
- Completion of criminal background check

The expected salary is $70,000 to $80,000. The actual base pay can increase beyond this range and will be based on various factors, including transferable skil
