- SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

Under the supervision of the External Transport Manager, the Transport Agent will have the mandate to support our transport coordinators in regular transport operations by performing the necessary follow-ups of shipments with our carriers, warehouses, buyers and sales. In addition, the Transportation Agent will be responsible for monitoring the compliance of our carriers.
- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in regular transportation operations for all group plants
- Monitor our shipments to ensure timely pick-up and delivery
- Follow up on shipments with warehouses, purchasing and sales
- Assist carriers in scheduling delivery appointments
- Audit the use of the C3 reservation software and make the necessary follow-ups
- Maintain carrier compliance documentation
- Generate daily reports
- Assist the Transportation Coordinators team during busy periods and vacations
- Any other related duties

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Completion of a college degree in a field relevant to the job
- One (1) to two (2) years of relevant transportation experience
- Fluency in written and spoken French and English
- Comfortable with learning new technologies
- Ability to manage priorities
- Be recognized as an organized and autonomous person
- Ability to work in a team.

*Hybrid work mode with 2 days in the office and 3 days at home*
