Carpenter Foreman

**About Us**:
Rafat General Contracting is a leader in the construction industry, specializing in a variety of high-profile projects. We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman with a specialization in bridge structures to oversee and lead our construction crews on major infrastructure projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and lead a team of carpenters and laborers in the construction and repair of bridge structures.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate daily work activities to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of construction tasks.
- Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and building codes.
- Train and mentor team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve construction issues and optimize workflows.
- Maintain inventory of materials, tools, and equipment, and ensure their proper use and maintenance.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment used on projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Carpenter Foreman or in a supervisory role in bridge construction.
- Extensive knowledge of bridge construction techniques, methods, and materials.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Certifications related to bridge construction and carpentry are a plus.
