Sewing Machinist

Come join our Head Office team and be part of the exciting behind the scenes aspect of the retail industry We are currently seeking a skilled part-time Seamstress. The Seamstress is responsible for processing a high volume of garments. They must have strong attention to detail, ability to manage their time effectively and ensure quality work.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Sew various logos onto garments
- Maintain department in a clean and orderly fashion
- Complete work to the highest technical standard
- Must have experience using sewing machine as well as hand sewing
- Complete regular inventory to ensure supply requirements are met

**Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years sewing and/or alterations experience
- Attention to detail
- Quality and detail oriented
- Ability to work under tight deadlines

**Job Type**: Part-time

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Halifax, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- sewing: 2 years (preferred)
