Tundra is seeking a **Technical Analyst Student** for the summer of 2025 (May - August) based out of our **Calgary** office. The incumbent in this role will be eligible to participate in Tundra’s hybrid work schedule.

Reporting to the Technical Support Leader, the **Technical Analyst Student** will be responsible for:

- Primary responsibility is supporting requests and helping users with IT issues.
- Escalating issues that cannot be addressed to appropriate department/tech.
- Documenting and resolving issues in JIRA service management system.
- Managing employee onboards and departures; gathering information, verifying systems and access are granted and removed as instructed.
- Conducting research on products, services, standards and good practices.
- Utilizing self-help portals and KB to help empower users to become self-sufficient with technologies; includes updating and creation of content.
- Responsible for tracking and movement of Tundra asset inventory; utilizing asset management systems.
- Communicating pertinent activities, problems, and other necessary items during daily team meetings.
- Assisting and cross training in other supporting roles including systems and networking.
- Participating in on-call rotation and responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma
- Must be enrolled in Post Secondary Education for Information Technology and returning to post-secondary education in September 2025.
- ITIL, Microsoft, CompTIA certifications recommended.
- Experience with business technology.
- Familiar with Microsoft Server 2016/2022, VMware technologies.
- Familiar with Active Directory, Group policy, RSAT tools, etc.
- Understanding and ability to work with hardware and components including desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, monitors and cell phones.
- General knowledge of infrastructure technology, including routers, switches, internet, DCHP, DNS, TCP/IP, LAN and WAN.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Ability to conduct effective research.
- Self-motivated and directed.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective at multi-tasking.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Adhere to the safety accountabilities as per Tundra’s Safety Policies.
