The Container Guy specializes in container modifications. We offer our clients advanced engineering & design with 3D modeling and custom fabrication in-house to allow us to provide turn-key solutions.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Develops detailed cost estimates & budgetary pricing estimates for all projects
- Work with clients and engineers to develop project requirements
- Review of client bid packages, project specifications, and drawing packages
- Soliciting subcontractor and vendor quotations
- Creation and maintenance of estimating database
- Proposal content creation
- Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors
- Communicate with engineers, clients, subcontractors, and vendors to prepare changes and adjustments to cost estimates
- Develop post award handover packages
- Other duties related to estimating and project quoting

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of related experience, ideally with estimating in a manufacturing environment
- Post-secondary education in an Engineering, Construction, or Technical Discipline, or equivalent experience
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, process drawings, and design drawings
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and pride in delivering high-quality results
- Excellent communication (verbal & written), interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills, including attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Interest in continuous learning
