#WFP2024**THE OPPORTUNITY**
Western Forest Products is currently hiring for** Production Labourers** at our sites on **Vancouver Island**,** BC** We have multiple positions available at each location.
** Current Opportunities**:

- Saltair Sawmill Division, Ladysmith, BC
- Chemainus Sawmill Division, Chemainus, BC
- Ladysmith Sawmill Operation, Ladysmith, BC
- Value Added Division, Chemainus, BC

**What We Offer**:

- Unionized wage rates ranging between **$26.40 - **$33.35**, depending on location;
- Hourly premiums of **$0.60/hour** on shifts that are outside the recognized day shift;

**Shifts**:Monday to Friday - a variety of day, afternoon and night shifts (must be willing to work all these shifts).

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- All employees will start in general labour or cleanup positions, and then progress from there into a variety of roles including machine operators;
- All employees must maintain a safe and clean work area;
- Supporting other areas of the operations as needed.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education and Experience**
- It would be an asset to have previous experience in a safety-sensitive environment (trades-related or an industrial environment), but not necessary.** We will train people without this background if they have the right attitude and want to learn**:

- A strong work ethic with willingness to lend a helping hand when needed;

- Able to prioritize work;
