Cart Connection Canada is looking for a Afternoon Shift Leader to join our team.

**Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the daily operations of the shift, including training, delegation, and communication.**
- Train, manage, and delegate tasks to all staff members. Maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Operate a forklift and ensure all equipment is functioning properly and maintain safety standards.
- Load and unload trucks in the afternoon with the team as needed.
- Always monitor and manage safety compliance.
- Attend daily production meetings with day shift supervisors and plant manager.
- Assist in inventory controls and management of inventory.
- Communicate daily shift reports.
- Motivate the team to drive results.
- Follow escalation plan and communicate issues in a timely manner.

**Requirements and skills**
- High level of communication required.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Highly organized.
- Ability to manage a team with mínimal supervision.
- Forklift certification.
- Leadership skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Knowledge and experience with hand, power and pneumatic tools is essential.

**Salary**: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Team management: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Ford Certification (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Night Shift (preferred)

Work Location: In person
