Dimensional Quality Technician

Our core business is automotive component manufacturing and have been stamping, welding, painting and assembling automotive parts for our customers for more than 18 different current models for over 30 years.

**Hours of Work**:Rotating Shifts (2 weeks on days and 2 weeks on afternoons)

**Position Summary**:Work with company policies and procedures to provide quality verification of parts.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Dimensional testing as per schedule and special request
- Collection of test samples from production floor
- Perform trend data analysis and report change points to applicable QE
- Certification of inspection gauges as required
- Work to all company and departmental safety and 5S requirements

**Qualifications**:

- College Diploma or Degree in a technical field or High School diploma
- Thoroughly versed in use of array of testing equipment
- Understanding of SPC, Quality problem solving tools and GD&T
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, statistical analysis and dimensional data
- Skills with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, quality tools and programs
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and CAD software

**Work Environment**:

- Office, test lab and plant environment
