**Schedule**: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 Hours Per Week, Saturdays Mandatory; In-Home Assessments May Be Required Outside Regular Working Hours

The Fireplace Center and Patio Shop began in 1952 and has been serving the people of Ottawa, Eastern Ontario, and Western Quebec for more than 70 years We pride ourselves on our high level of client satisfaction and employee retention. **Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Providing exceptional service by greeting and assisting clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Actively engaging with clients to understand their needs with the objective of advising a product or service which meets their requirements.
- Showcasing our range of products and services, explaining features, benefits, and pricing options effectively.
- Professionally scheduling and conducting in-home assessments, aiming to verify project pricing and product details, following in-store qualification of leads.
- Finalizing contracts and facilitate payment collection promptly.
- Assisting with ensuring a clean and organized retail environment and personal workspace to uphold professionalism, safety, and positive client experiences.
- Staying up to date with product features, specifications, and updates through ongoing training sessions and independent research.
- Previous experience delivering exceptional client service in a retail sales environment or related field.
- Experience in Hearth, Patio Furniture, or BBQ sales.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail to address client concerns and objections effectively.
- Proficient in working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve individual and organizational goals.
- An ability to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and clients alike to ensure project success.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license required for travel to conduct in-home assessments.
- An ability to collaborate with clients to determine optimal timing for in-home assessments, accommodating their schedules and preferences, as necessary.
- An ability to communicate in French.

**Compensation**
- This position offers a salary during the initial probationary period, transitioning to a highly competitive 100% commission-based compensation structure upon completion, with unlimited earning potential based on sales performance.
