Dental Receptionist

**Job Summary**

Busy, well-established family practice in Lindsay is looking for an experienced temporary contract dental receptionist. Dental experience is required

**Responsibilities**
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule and confirm appointments using dental software such as Abeldent.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical records systems.
- Process patient information and verify insurance coverage.
- Assist in managing the office's administrative tasks, including filing and data entry.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming for patients.
- Communicate effectively with dental staff to coordinate patient care.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or Administrator
- Proficiency in using phone systems and dental software (preferably Abeldent).
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and terminology
- Experience in dental assisting a definite asset
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding patient service.

**Schedule**
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9am-5pm.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
