We are currently seeking a permanent, full-time _**EDI Analyst**_ to join our growing team

Reporting to the Director, EDI Services, the_**EDI Analyst **_is responsible for the implementation of EDI between Commport customers and their trading partners. The EDI Analyst modifies and manages all mapping documentation for Commport customers and provides support to EDI production processes as required.

**What You Will Do**:

- Manage projects for customer implementations across all EDI business using a variety of software tools and adhering to delivery dates and deadlines.
- Manage, maintain, and update all EDI Services translator products and their underlying databases, regardless of their deployment location.
- Translate the needs of a business or client into a technical solution via active listening, and communicates that solution back to the customer in a way that is easily understood.
- Establish contact with customers and their trading partner(s) to coordinate EDI testing, change requests and implementations, which are the primary link between the customer and their trading partner for any requested set up.
- Work with the customer and trading partner to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Analyze the data/documents being exchanged and review maps of customer documents to ensure the EDI Mapper accommodated all their Trading partners and EDI Standards.
- Troubleshoot testing or data processing issues utilizing knowledge of system architecture and configuration (with the help of senior staff), to identify the source of problems and make improvements.
- Test and correct any failures (with the assistance of a Programmer if required) as needed, to ensure compliance with mapping documentation and the EDI Standards.
- Train customers on the use of various customer-facing services or tools.
- Communicate any changes in timeline, roadblocks, and scope of work creep in collaboration with the Customer Success Manager.
- Assist Customer Success Managers in providing the best possible solutions to solve our customer issues.
- Work with Network Administration and Help Desk teams when required, to support proper data exchanges via communications (AS2, SFTP, InterVANFTP, FTP).
- Track all customer related activities in CRM on a continuous basis.
- Follow Commport’s Security Policies and procedures and all laid out best practices.

**What We Are Looking For**
- Diploma or Degree in a technical field
- A minimum of two years Help Desk, EDI Mapper or other EDI related technical experience
- Knowledge of EDI Standards and principles
- Knowledge of Customer Service principles and best practices
- Must have proficient computer skills, be technologically inclined, and be interested in learning new/additional software tools
- Strong skills in time management and organization an asset.
- Project Management experience is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (or other CRM) is an asset
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint is an asset
- Communication skills - verbal and written, internal and external
- Must be a self-starter, who can tolerate stress
- Attention to detail, initiative and reliability
- Must reside in Canada for five consecutive years to be eligible for this role
- Must undergo an RCMP Criminal Background Check (for Secure B Reliability Status)
