Reporting to the Nu-Fab Building Products, this position will work with the team to create estimates and take-offs for our construction projects.

**Responsibilities**
- Plan reading
- Identifying wall and floor types
- Understanding of structural notes
- Interpretation of construction terminology
- Ability to review and answer basic design questions and identify contradictions
- Review designs & specifications to create material take-offs for residential and commercial construction projects including framing, finishing, stairs, etc.
- Process & coordinate material orders as required
- Work with our Sales, Design and Production teams to ensure construction details & change orders are completed and processed accurately in a timely manner
- Coordinate with shipping to coordinate and maintain customer delivery schedules
- Continually look for new and better ways to service our customers
- Always look for ways to improve your department and yourself personally
- Foster a positive and diverse culture

**Qualifications**
- High degree of organization skills
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Construction material take-offs and estimating experience
- Residential building product knowledge & ability to read blueprints required
- Training with estimating software an asset
- Valid Class 5 license
- Confidence & Professionalism
- Experience with Mitek Suite and PlanSwift would be an asset
