**WHAT IS THE KEY INGREDIENT TO EDO’S SUCCESS?**
**YOU**
As the sushi station attendant, you will create mouth-watering fresh sushi and present it with flair. Duties include preparation of the sushi area, maintaining a meticulously cleaned sushi station and making perfectly crafted sushi fresh to order. Sushi training will be provided and there is a high likelihood for training in other areas of the restaurant to help you become a highly functional and qualified team member. Previous experience in a guest services/cashier role would be an asset.
**YOU GOT THIS IF**:
- YOU have knowledge of and willingness to embrace important food health and safety guidelines
- YOU understand various cooking methods, ingredients, and knife skills
- YOU have previous Sushi experience (it’s ok if you don’t, we all start somewhere)
- YOU have food handling certification or willing to obtain
- YOU have a positive attitude and ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- YOU pride yourself on your exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- YOU have mastered a memorable first impression inspiring customer loyalty and a desire to return to Edo day after day

**A TYPICAL DAY AS A SUSHI EXPERT**
- Understand the importance of following all food safety guidelines and comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Preparing all types of sushi including rolls, nigiris and our signature pressed sushi
- Stock and always maintain sufficient levels of prep to ensure a smooth service flow
- Replenish stock for both front and back end
- Regularly clean and maintaining the work area, including the prep area, kitchen, and any tools used during the shift
- Ensuring quality checks of dishes are up to restaurant standard
- Continuously learn and maintain knowledge of food safety, how to prepare recipes, and how to use kitchen equipment
- Ability to make excellent decisions under pressure that positively impacts the guest experience
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment
- Other duties as required
