Pet Bather

Boutique grooming shop in the heart of Waterdown village is looking for a part-time bather. Underdog & Co. is a one-on-one grooming shop with a primary focus on pets’ experiences. We are a quality over quantity grooming shop. The shop is an inclusive space, with zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, transphobia or any sort of bigotry. We are not looking for a power groomer, rather, someone who wants to take the time to hone their craft while making the experience and happiness of the pets in their care their number one priority.

We provide high quality shampoos, electric table, tool chest, cleaning supplies, and any necessary products. Tools to be provided by the employee.

**Responsibilities**:

- Bathe and groom pets according to client specifications and breed standards
- Handle and restrain pets in a gentle and compassionate manner
- Clean and maintain grooming equipment and work area
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring their satisfaction
- Assist with other tasks as needed, such as nail trims or ear cleaning

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a pet bather or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to handle heavy lifting, as some pets may be large or require assistance
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Passion for working with animals and providing them with the best care possible

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $16.55-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
