**Job Description - Clinical Manager**

**Position Overview**:The role is envisioned to be a critical position at CCSYR. As part of the leadership team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of our counselling program including the design, quality assurance and service delivery of all clinical services provided by the agency.

Reporting to the Director of Counselling and Settlement Services, you will solidify and strengthen our existing programming, as well as provide guidance, direction, and leadership to enable us to expand our impact, in line with the CCSYR values.

You will have a passion for impact, a strongly analytical approach, a bias for action, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence and be comfortable with ambiguity. You will work collaboratively with the leadership to help craft the future direction of our counselling program.

**Scope of Practice**:
**Leadership and Coaching**:

- Lead a team of individual counsellors, providing necessary oversight, training, and coaching in order for them to best meet the requirements of our diverse pool of clients and support their professional growth and development.
- Provide case consultation and necessary guidance to staff on escalated complex issues.

**Program Design and Evaluation**:

- Review, improve and oversee intake procedures and process.
- Manage the departments service delivery objectives, ensure targets are achieved through ongoing monitoring and maintaining accurate data collection and statistics.
- Conduct ongoing evaluation of counselling services as required by funders and ensure a quality client experience.

**Program Service Delivery**:

- Supervise the delivery of programs and ensure they are delivered in accordance with funder requirements.
- Drive the development of workflows, tools, dashboards, infrastructure, and reports to enable data-driven decisions and to streamline processes across the organization. Manage and improve mechanisms for data collection, management, analysis, and reporting.
- Collaborate with the Director, Settlement and Counselling Services in the preparation and management of annual programs operational budget.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the Leadership Team, Board of Directors and funders.
- Oversee the maintenance of client records ensuring, confidentiality, accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulations including the AODA, legal, accreditation and ethical standards.

**What you need to succeed**:
**Education/Credentials**:

- A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychotherapy, Psychology or a related discipline and registration with a professional college (e.g., College of Social Workers, Psychotherapists, Psychologists).

**Leadership experience**:

- Progressive management experience in a social service setting and clinical/social work services experience.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering clinical supervision.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams with a focus on coaching and mentorship.
- Experience in writing grant and funding proposals.

**Skills**:

- Crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills.
- Understanding of Anti-Oppression and Anti-Racism Frameworks.
- Aptitude for working effectively and sensitively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Comfort with Technology and communication platforms.
- Understanding and strict adherence to Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
- Fluency in a second language.

**Nice to Have**:

- Familiarity with the operations and funding of a Community Services Agency.
- Ability to occasionally work flexible hours.

**Other Requirements**:
**Job Location**:The CCSYR head office at 21 Dunlop Street, Richmond Hill, Ontario, L4C 2M6, with travel to other locations throughout the York Region.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to $95,000.00 per year
