Link Suspensions of Canada, LP is looking for a **Welding Supervisor** to join our Nisku, AB team
**Duties** include, but are not limited to:
- Fitting and Fabrication of materials.
- Supervise workers and projects, Co-ordinate and schedule work, Train or arrange for training, recommend staffing actions, Ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Plan and direct the assignment of work duties, ensuring that delivery deadlines are met and finished product matches the engineering drawing.
- Collaborate with Production Manager and Engineering to establish standard build times. Ensure build times meet or exceed standard times identified on Work Orders.
- Ensure that company Quality Control policies are adhered to and strive for continuous quality improvements.
- Instruct and mentor apprentices and team members on program training requirements and ensure that they are capable of meeting or exceeding standard established build times while maintaining the highest level of work quality.
- Read and interpret Engineered drawings, blueprints and welding process specifications.
- Perform in-process inspection of welded products.
- Participate in Production process, interacting and working cooperatively with other company stakeholders, including Quality Control, Production, Purchasing and Operations.
- Maintain a tidy and safe work environment.
- Follow all policies/procedures in relation to work processes and safety.
**Education/Experience**:
- Journeyman Welding Certificate.
- Previous experience in a leadership role.
- 10-15 years of related progressive work experience.
- Strong welding and fitting abilities.
- Certification through Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) an asset.
