Assistant General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our establishment. As a Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily activities on the floor, ensuring excellent customer service, and optimizing overall efficiency. Your leadership, organizational abilities, and industry knowledge will be essential in maintaining high standards and delivering a memorable dining and bar experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the daily operations on the floor, including coordinating with kitchen and bar staff, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance to ensure smooth workflow and timely service.
Train, develop, and motivate floor staff, bartenders, and servers to provide exceptional customer service, maintain high-quality standards, and meet performance goals.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring timely restocking of supplies, ingredients, and beverages.
Oversee the bar operations, ensuring compliance with liquor regulations, responsible serving practices, and accurate cash handling procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests, including seating arrangements, table settings, and overall ambiance.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve any issues to customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation, presentation, and delivery to guests.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, food handling guidelines, and alcohol serving protocols.
Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for business growth, customer retention, and staff training and development.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs to enhance staff performance and career development.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the restaurant/bar industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, employees, and management.
In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu development, wine and cocktail selection, and food safety practices.
Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations, resolve conflicts, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
