**Position Description**

The Procurement Manager for Aluminum is accountable to develop and implement strategic sourcing of aluminum packaging materials for the North American market. This individual should have prior experience in the aluminum/can market, capability to develop and execute both short
- and long-term sourcing strategies, skilled in collaboration and negotiation, mindset of a change agent, and strong executive presence.

**Essential Functions**
- Develop and efficiently implement category roadmap(s) providing the most value to Refresco through continuous improvement, value propositions, innovations, and sustainability initiatives
- Anticipate, negotiate, and execute commercial opportunities on time within the assigned categories under the supervision of the Procurement Director
- Provide the business with accurate price forecasting, inclusive of market condition monitoring, price trends and future forecasting
- Conduct market and risk analysis to drive category strategies, with ability to react quickly and creatively when faced with unexpected market conditions
- Develop, implement, and manage vendor performance metrics, documents, and reporting as part of a Supplier Relationship Management plan within specified category.
- Obtain data from varied sources to identify and support fact-driven opportunities. Ensure analysis is accurate, comprehensive, and robust.
- Collaborate with materials management teams to ensure supply security and cost optimization
- Attend off-site supplier tours/visits as needed.
