**Job Overview**
We are seeking volunteer Warehouse Transporters to move home goods between two designated locations. Warehouse experience as Picker/Packer, Sorter, and Operations is an asset, but not required, as this is a great opportunity to learn more about a warehousing career.

**Reports to**: Volunteer Coordinator and Project Manager (VP Department)

**Duties**
- Work in a team of 2-4 people to safely transport home goods, including furniture and appliances, clothing and small and medium-sized boxed items between two warehouse locations for 2-4 hours per week, one day a week for at least 3 months.
- Load and unload items to prevent damage during transport.
- Verify inventory lists prior to transport and communicate effectively with warehouse staff to coordinate pickups.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding transportation, inventory handling, and safety protocols.

**Qualifications**
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle preferred; Pickup Trucks/Flatbeds, Cargo Vans, Box Trucks, are preferred, Large or Midsize SUVs, or any vehicle pulling an attached trailer are also acceptable.
- Experience in transportation, delivery, or warehouse operations is an asset, but not required.
- Physically fit, able to lift and move heavy objects (up 50-75 lbs.) safely and efficiently. Safety Tickets, Fall Arrest, and Team Lift training is an asset, but not required.
