Rocky Mountain Wedding & Events is the longest established local Banff wedding planning company. We specialize in customizable modern celebrations for couples travelling from around the world.

Growing our team to include an “Elopement Coordinator” plays a vital role in properly representing RMWE and continued support of relationships that ultimately become the building blocks of the business.

We’re looking for a collaborative team player who will ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of RMWE, thrive in a high inquiry sales environment, manage communications with clients and vendors, flawlessly execute RMWE related events and weddings, and assist in other general tasks as needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Answer general inquiries and follow ups in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
- Will require phone conversations and/or ZOOM meetings with clients when needed.
- Develop vendor and venue relationships.
- Confidently pitch and advocate RMWE’s values: Intentional, Supporting Local, Human Connection, Experience over Production, Transparency, Emotion & Sustainability
- Contribute to social media posts and updates
- Support couples in the planning and coordination of elopement details including but not limited to: recommending vendors, reviewing contracts, booking vendors, providing other logístical support or local recommendations
- Day of Coordination for elopements - ensure the logistics, timing and details of the day are executed according to plan.
- Assist in execution of any RMWE event

**Qualifications**
- Experience in event planning and execution preferred
- Proficiency in the use of computer programs such as word processing, databases, excel spreadsheets, bookkeeping, Google suite, Gmail etc.
- Ability to build relationships, establish and maintain positive working relations with others both internally and externally to achieve the goals of RMWE
- Communicate effectively, speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques.
- You get excited about adventure and exploring new places with fun people.
- Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals and track details/data/information/activities.
- Ability to troubleshoot on the spot and work under pressure
- Required to work evenings, weekends and non-traditional hours during peak season (June-Sept)
- Self-starter; ability to work independently and take initiative
- Class 5 Driver’s license required, reliable vehicle

**Compensation**
- Permanent, Full Time
- Starting Salary $21/hr ($43,680 annual salary)
- Interviews to begin January 2023
