Contract: Permanent
Location: Anywhere in BC (Working from home is an option in line with FNHA’s working policy - minimum of two days a week in office).

**About the role**
As YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM CONSULTANT, you will manage and coordinate youth Mental Health programs in assigned program area(s) for First Nations communities and the National Aboriginal Youth Suicide Prevention Strategy (NAYSPS), at a regional, provincial, and community-based level on behalf of First Nations Organizations (FNOs) and the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA). Additionally, this role supports provincial working groups, initiatives, and projects related to youth mental health and wellness inclusive of mental wellness promotion, prevention, and early intervention.
**About you**
You have the knowledge of, and ability to apply, an understanding of First Nations cultural principles and protocols in work situations. You have a knowledge of colonial history and contexts for understanding social disparities and inequities, including but not limited to the Indian Residential School System and Indian Hospitals and how that has impacted First Nations youth’s mental health and wellness.
- Education & Experience- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology
.You have minimum three (3) years of related youth mental health and wellness experience, or an equivalent combination of education,training, and experience.
You may have experience in; Youth and Family Counsellor, Mental Health Counsellor, Social Worker

We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
