**Nature and Scope**

Macadam Construction is a Halifax-based company responsible for the construction & development of projects ranging from subdivisions & commercial plazas to high-rise mixed-use developments with residential, commercial, and retail tenants, to traditional apartments.

We are currently hiring an **Experienced Demolition Labourer** to join our team and continue expanding our portfolio.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Excavating, loading, and offloading rocks, debris, and other materials,
- Observing stipulated safety codes,
- Communicating with coworkers to elucidate project specifications, as necessary

**Qualifications**
- Hardworking individual,
- Must have your own personal protection equipment (hard hat, steal toed boots, reflective vest,
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Experience on a commercial site is preferred
- Midrise demolition experience preferred.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- A sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelines
- Capacity to follow directions
