Here is what you need to know:
Plan and install network installations by using work orders, plans, manuals, and technical specifications

Running, pulling, terminating, and splicing copper cables (CAT5, CAT6, coax, low voltage cables). We also mount telecommunications equipment, routers, switches and audio visual equipment in centralized racks - all while following industry standards, best practices and manufacturer requirements.

Install cable pathway systems (cable trays, cable racks, cabinets, J-hooks or D-rings) by using power or manual fasteners, drills or other power equipment.

Document network by labeling cables and recording as built diagrams and specifications. This includes Fluke Testing of installations.

This is really important. Maintain customer rapport by listening to and resolving concerns; answering questions or escalating to Project Management for resolution.

This is really important. Must work well with little supervision individually and in a team environment, usually in a leadership role.

Must have knowledge of basic computer skills and be able to demonstrate good writing skills.

Must be knowledgeable industry standards and best practices, for Alarm and network installation.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.

Ability to multi-task, works and gets the job done right Be able to lift, carry and set up equipment as is typical for the industry. Maintain a safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal requirements.

Clean Driving Record.

Required experience:

- Experience in installation of structured cable products, CCTV and Alarm Systems: 3 years2 or even 1 ½ years is ok
- Cabling: 3 years2 or even 1 ½ years is ok
- HUGE PLUS but not required is experience with Control4 or Crestron Automation systems.

**Salary**: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
