**Quality assurance specialist**
- Permanent- Montréal

**AAA Canada is a manufacturing company that has been providing subcontracting and technical assistance to industrialization, production and maintenance processes for about 15 years**

**We operate in the Aerospace, Ground Transportation and Energy sectors.**

**A typical day?**
- Perform tasks in accordance with internal or customer supplied documentation;
- Ensure product compliance to design requirements based on a quality plan - develop inspection and testing standards, establish control points, oversee the inspection process, address non-conformances through resolution plans;
- Conduct MRB (Material Review) meetings and provide recommendations as required;
- Validate and verify manufacturing processes and qualification techniques;
- Identify improvement opportunities - analyze data to find recurring problems using problem solving tools (Ishikawa/Pareto/control charts, etc...); conduct product/process improvement sessions;

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical or electrical D.E.C. (or technical background with equivalent experience).
- Internal and external (supplier) audit experience required.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to mechanical or electrical products (welding, plating, painting, machining, sheet metal work, mechanical/electrical assembly, PCB assembly, cable assembly).
- Bilingualism (French - English) in speaking and writing is an important asset for communication in the multilingual environment of the customer site and technical documentation.
