**Overview**: We are a thriving dance studio located in Sherwood Park. Our studio is dedicated to providing exceptional dance education and fostering a love for dance among our students. **Position**: Dance Educator

**Location**: Sherwood Park

**Responsibilities**: Responsibilities of the role will include (but not be limited to):
a. Demonstrate basic dance techniques
b. Demonstrate safe dance teaching methods
c. Facilitate group based learning
d. Foster and promote an inclusive learning environment
f. Create a ‘child safe’ learning environment
g. Follow Drea Lee Creative Procedures
h. Share the love of dance

Your contributions will play a key role in ensuring the success and growth of our studio. We measure success in this role by seeing improvement in a dancer’s technique, their confidence and retention.

**Requirements**: To excel in this role, we are seeking individuals who align with our studio's values and possess the following qualifications:

- Passion for dance and a genuine interest in nurturing students' love for the art form.
- Experience in the genres of dance that will be taught.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and fellow staff members.

Part-time hours: 3 per week

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- teaching: 2 years (preferred)
