Brand Ambassador - Job Description

Reports To: Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager

Works with: CSL to establish daily sales goals and tasking

The sales associate is primarily responsible for ensuring a great customer experience and maximum profitability. Maintaining assigned zones for maximum efficiency and organization are essential to ensure a positive customer experience, and profitability. Keeping up to date on current promotions and being knowledgeable about the product is essential.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
(Specific Duties and Responsibilities Critical to Completion of Daily Workload)
- Meets company sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to the customer; recommends merchandise selections or helps to locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires
- Performs various sales and register transactions, including ringing in purchases, processing cash or credit payments, counting money, and assist with opening/closing/ register procedures
- Maintains an awareness of customers to both increase service levels and reduce security risks; remains current on policies regarding payment and exchanges, customer service, security practices and other applicable operations
- Maintains knowledge of current sales and promotions; maintains pricing and marketing standards.
- Builds and maintains a solid customer following by building brand loyalty and clienteling.
- Maintains standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and all other duties as directed by management.
- Participates in visual directives, including setting planograms, daily maintenance of respective sales stations and surrounding zones, and upholding cleaning standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned/required.

- The fulfillment of the duties of the role applied for and given, in their entirety.
- Full-Time Brand Ambassadors, must be able to fulfill a schedule that may include up to 5,8-hour shifts, including both days and evenings, weekdays and weekends, flexibly.
- Part-Time Brand Ambassadors must be able to fulfill a schedule that may include up to 4, 4-5-hour shifts, if required.
- An Employee Availability form is provided for employees of Pandora Erin Mills, and it is expected, that the hours listed as available, are fulfilled when scheduled for. It is the responsibility of the employee to make the necessary provisions for transportation, to ensure you arrive to work with time to complete pre-opening tasks and be ready to sell on the sales floor at the time of opening. Repeated tardiness or absenteeism may result in decreased hours and may result in termination of employment.
- Booking time off is not permitted during blackout periods. Blackout periods include November 15th - January 15 (Christmas Season), 4 days prior to, and until the last day, of Special Events (ie. Bracelet Events, Ring Events, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc.) Provisions for time off, may be discussed with the Store Manager, to determine if the request can be reasonably fulfilled.
- Swapping of shifts is not encouraged, and excessive activity, may result in decreased hours, written warnings, and possible termination of employment.
- Pandora Erin Mills has a Zero-Tolerance policy to having mobile devices on during a working shift. All devices must be left in the safe, until the end of the shift, with the exception of lunch breaks, after which, the device must be replaced in the safe, until after clocking out.
- All employees MUST clock in and out of shifts using the biometric scanner provided. This system has been implemented to help employees accurately log their hours, avoiding discrepancies regarding hours paid. Failure to clock in and out using the scanner may result in immediate termination. (Please note that the biometric scanner only records a fingerprint for the purposed of accurately logging an employee's hours. Should an employee no longer be employed, the profile with fingerprint in the system will be purged.) Only in the instance that the scanner is not working, clocking in on a register can be acceptable, with a note on the End of Day report, of the time you arrived. Any dishonesty found regarding tardiness or absenteeism will result in immediate termination of employment.
