**Responsibilities**
- Work with our creative director to design beautifully drafted and thoughtfully constructed garments, working from sketches, technical flats, and our library of pattern blocks and reference materials
- Use professional drafting software to digitize patterns, ensuring precision, accuracy, and employing good drafting conventions in two different sizes for each design (a straight size 8 with a B cup, a curvy size 18 with D cup)
- Cut and assemble preliminary samples and mock-ups for review on dress forms and sample models (with assistance from our samplemaker)
- Mock-up 3D models of garments using Clo 3D to review fit and proportion
- Work with the pattern team to test and refine construction methods for inclusion in pattern instruction booklets, which assist our customers in the construction of the garment
- Coordinate pattern deliverables, schedules, and deadlines with our production manager - ensure we are able to meet tight monthly and quarterly production deadlines
- Coordinate with our grader to grade each size into our full size range. Once pattern has been returned from grader, do due diligence to ensure accuracy and quality across entire size range. Walk pattern pieces, review and verify construction marks and notations, review finished measurement charts, and mockup all graded sizes in 3D to verify grading proportions.

- Prepare files for export and formatting by our graphic design team
