**Personal Chef Job Description**

Looking for an experienced personal chef based in Toronto who takes great pride in their work. This is an opportunity to be a part of a dynamic growing creative team.

You have the following traits and skills: Mature, results-driven, attention to detail, focused, leadership and takes direction well, aware of surroundings, able to respond effectively to challenges as they arise, reliable with your time and your word, have a no excuses policy.

I love cooking for my clients in their homes which allows them the time to spend with family and helps them get healthy dinners on the table. A typical workday would be shopping for groceries, and arriving at the client's house on time ready to work. Cooking 5 different meals with sides, packaging, and labeling meals. Cleaning up during and after cooking for the day in a 5-6 hour time frame. SKILLS AND MINDSET YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION:

- Excellent palate, cooking and kitchen skill set
- Must be adaptable, self-motivated and able to work independently
- Completely dependable and respect clients privacy, you are being trusted in people's homes
- Strong customer service orientation, making sure the client is always happy
- Ability to work clean and efficiently
- Can handle constructive criticism
- Excellent time management, strong organizational and communication skills
- Must have experience working in private homes
- Must have experience shopping and picking quality ingredients
- Reliable personal transportation, having access to a car.
- Basic computer literacy
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

This is a part-time position. Shifts are more at the start of the week, as work availability increases this can turn into a more regular schedule based on your commitment level.

Available to work 4+ days a week during the weekday.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
